Marcos and Lila are a unique team of father & daughter board certified endocrinologists with a family tradition of comprehensive and compassionate care.
Dr. Marcos Chertman graduated from Cayetano Heredia U Peruana medical school in 1969. With over 51 years as a board certified practitioner, he has more experience with diabetes, thyroid & parathyroid disorders, and pituitary & adrenal disorders than almost any other specialist in the area. Dr. Marcos Chertman is known for his dedication to his patients and his commitment to compassionate care.
Dr Lila S. Chertman completed her Endocrinology Fellowship at the University of Miami. Prior to that she completed Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center and is a graduate of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine with Alpha Omega Alpha distinction. She also dedicates time to charity through the Peruvian American Medical Society which raises money for patient care and physician education in Peru. She now works alongside her father, sharing the same passion for compassionate care.
